Wilson Integrated Psychiatry LLC

Sarina Wilson, psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner

About

Welcome to Wilson Integrated Psychiatry. We believe that wellness is an integration of multiple aspects of health and that psychiatry is a key component to overall health. We know most of you come from a place where the mind and body have been separated out, as fields of treatment. We aim to reintegrate these things and provide you with a treatment plan that sees you as a whole person.

FAQ

Meet the provider

I am Sarina Wilson, AG-ACNP, PMHNP. I am a nurse practitioner dually certified in whole-family psychiatric and mental health, as well as adult and geriatric acute care. I have over 17 years in the medical field, as an ICU nurse and then a hospitalist, before finally entering the field of psychiatric care. I was born in Missoula, MT and have worked the last 5+ years in the Bitterroot as a hospitalist.

What is psychiatry?

Psychiatry is the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness as a branch of medicine and most often involves the use of medications. We believe that psychiatry must encompass mental health and illness as a part of whole-body health and illness. Your mental health is intricately connected to how you manage chronic conditions and take care of your body. For example, it is more difficult to manage your diabetes if you are also depressed. We strive to reconnect that disconnect between the mind and body.

What are your business hours?  How long does an appointment last?

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-5pm. Appointments are 50-90 minutes for an initial intake and 20-30 minutes for a follow-up. If you need a longer appointment, please request that when you make the appointment.

Do you also do psychotherapy?

While psychiatric nurse practitioners are also trained in therapy, my specialty is in diagnostics and medication management. We are not currently booking therapy-only appointments and prefer to instead collaborate with a dedicated therapist.

Are you accepting new patients?

We are! Please call 406-641-2345 to set up an appointment.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

We are currently preferred providers for Aetna, Allegiance, BCBS, Medicaid, Medicare, Mountain Health Co-Op, Optum Behavioral Health, Pacific Source, TRICARE West, and United Healthcare.

How much will my visit cost?

We are happy to provide you with a cost estimate. Please call 406-641-2345 to discuss. For those with high deductible insurance, there is a cash-pay at-time-of-service discount price. If you elect for the cash-pay price, we will not bill your insurance for you. If you do use insurance, your co-pay and co-insurance fee is due at the time of service.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please call us at 406-641-2345 at least 48 hours in advance to cancel or change your appointment. There is a $50 cancellation fee for appointments missed or canceled with less than 24 hour notice. More than 3 missed appointments per year will result in discharge from the practice.
